In 2025, a task group of 21 IPAM experts produced a comprehensive policy paper, “Accelerating Global Climate Resilience Through Robust Adaptation Metrics.” Over 100 experts from 25 countries convened in Morocco for an international IPAM conference, taking part in workshops structured around the paper’s five main chapters and stress-testing its conclusions with a broad audience.
The paper is a research-backed document that lays out the evidence, the analysis, and the reasoning behind its recommendations, offering a fuller synthesis feeding into COP30 in Belém.
