In 2025, a task group of 21 IPAM experts produced a comprehensive policy paper, “Accelerating Global Climate Resilience Through Robust Adaptation Metrics”. IPAM presented it at COP30 in Belém, as a contribution to the negotiations on the indicators of the Global Goal on Adaptation under the UAE–Belém Work Programme.
The side event brought together IPAM experts, negotiators and partner organizations to discuss how the adopted indicators can be turned into robust, comparable metrics.
